TPG: Ideal Career Experience

Overview

Students work to identify the right message, media, promotion channels, and incentives that will motivate the Ideal Candidate to apply for the Behavioral Science Analyst position in support of TPG’s growth strategy.

You helped us crack the code with recruiting for TPG. We had a blind spot with young people we didn’t even know we had.
— Lisa DeFalco, CEO

Objectives

Participating student teams conduct primary and secondary research necessary to develop an integrated marketing and recruitment campaign aimed at engaging the Ideal Candidate to fill the TPG Behavioral Science Analyst position.

  • Conduct research and gain the insight necessary to successfully identify traits that represent the Ideal Candidate and motivating factors for the Ideal Candidate to consider applying for the Behavioral Science Analyst position

  • Based on defined Ideal Candidate, identify messaging and traditional, social, and digital media channels to reach the Ideal Candidate

  • Create copy points and creative elements to engage the Ideal Candidate

  • Test, validate, and revise materials based on direct, Ideal Candidate feedback

  • Based on recommended marketing and recruitment campaign, identify how to effectively allocate a budget to yield quality, interested candidates (i.e., the ideal TPG candidate) for the Behavioral Science Analyst position.

This project gives us the opportunity to work on real-world problems and develop the necessary content that will help TPG achieve its goals.
